3 C.H. Previously: CS 240 Code B, C, CS Prerequisite: CST* E210 or any programming course. An introduction to a workstation operating system. Topics covered include installation, configuration, administration, and support. The course will introduce administrative tools used to manage the system, and the protocols and services that ship with it, including the Domain Name System (DNS). Substantial work in the computer lab is required. This course will help students prepare for relevant industry tests.
