LATN 1001 is the first of two elementary language courses designed to develop skills in speaking, listening comprehension, reading, and writing as well as familiarize students with aspects of the target culture. The course delivery combines three hours of in-class lecture with instructional delivery through lab assignments, online course work, and service learning where applicable. A grade of C or higher will fulfill the CPC deficiency. LATN 1001 may count in AREA F towards Foreign Language, Associate of Arts and Associate of Science - General Studies degrees.
