This course provides the initial introduction to application development tools, languages, methods that support Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and event- driven paradigms. Emphasis is placed on understanding the process of writing, testing, and debugging business applications. Hands-on programming projects help students demonstrate their understanding of programming and design concepts. Topics include: XHTML, WWWC standards, accessibility design issues, JavaScript, and Visual BASIC Scripting language. Prerequisite: ISM103 or three ICT credits. 3 credits.
