3 Credits A review of the fundamental operations of algebra and an extensive study of relations, functions, exponents, radicals, quadratic equations and inequalities, systems of linear equations and inequalities in two and three variables, and absolute value equations and inequalities. Recommended for students who have some knowledge of elementary algebra but require improved skills as a prerequisite to further study in mathematics and science. Prerequisite: MAT* 095 or placement at college level math on Basic Skills Assessment
