On demand. Introduction to theoretical and empirical approaches to understanding the behavior of glazes and raw materials. Analysis of glazes through application of the unity molecular formula as well as extensive individual glaze testing. Students are expected to demonstrate an understanding of glaze behavior in both theoretical and applied situations. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor.
