Spring only. Development of skills in preparation for entrance into design profession. Focus on creation of personal identity system, professional resume, cover letter, and self-promotion. Continued development of oral, visual, and cognitive communication/presentation skills (i.e., interviewing techniques, salary negotiations, etc.). Refinement of existing body of work, and development of professional portfolio, for inclusion in end-of-semester Senior Graphic Design Portfolio Show. Five studio hours. Prerequisites: ARTD 403 and ARTD 405. Extra fee.
