This course covers the residential building codes that are applicable to the design and installation of HVAC systems. Topics include current residential codes as applied to HVAC design, service, and installation. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate the correct usage of residential building codes that apply to specifi c areas of the HVAC trade. Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or RED 080 and ENG 080 and MAT 060 and CTS 080
