Topics include the role of genetics in human development, birth defects, cancer and chemical exposure, and current issues including genetic engineering and fertilization methods. Upon completion, students should be able to understand the relationship of genetics to society today and its possible infl uence on our future. Prerequisite: BIO 110 or BIO 111
