Lecture = 0 Lab = 2 Credit = 1 This course provides an opportunity to enhance acquisition of the fundamental elements of the Chinese language. Emphasis is placed on the progressive development of basic listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through the use of various supplementary learning media and materials. Upon completion, students should be able to comprehend and respond with increasing profi ciency to spoken and written Chinese and demonstrate cultural awareness.
