Lecture = 3 Lab = 3 Credit = 4 This course is the fi rst of a two-course sequence which provides a comprehensive study of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Topics include the structure, function, and interrelationship of organ systems with emphasis on the processes which maintain homeostasis. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an indepth understanding of principles of anatomy and physiology and their interrelationships. This course also includes the study of basic microbiology. It is highly recommended that a student enroll in BIO 094 prior to enrolling in this course if the student has not had high school anatomy and physiology. Prerequisite: Acceptable placement score or RED 090
