3 credits This course examines the process of selection in today's modern business organizations. The student will be involved in analyzing methods of recruitment in order to procure a qualified pool of candidates from which a selection will be made. Discussions will focus on the legal environment that affects selection, along with the specific steps necessary to build the selection program. The students will investigate the job analysis process and its role in selection. Tools, such as application forms, interviews and tests, used in the selection process will be investigated in depth. This course will give the student a complete presentation of the selection process, starting with recruitment, and will show the methodology and problems in the entire selection process.
