3 credits This course is designed for those individuals who want to enhance their knowledge of Microsoft Access, an industry standard Windows-based database. Students will explore advanced Database Management features including advanced filters, macros, select queries, creating inner and outer joins, and operating Access on the Web. Through database concepts and "hands-on" experience,students will obtain technical skills such as designing and creating Switchboard, PivotTables, PivotCharts, importing and exporting XML documents into a database and the creation on MDE files. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to design, create and use complex databases. PREREQUISITE: CP-130
