Noncredit This course is designed for students who have English as a second language to increase their fluency in written and spoken English and to bring them to college-level competency. It will focus on the process of writing grammatically correct essays in a variety of rhetorical modes. Language skills that emphasize grammar, reading, speaking/listening, and conversation will also be emphasized. Attention will be given to vocabulary building and the use of idioms.
