Noncredit This course is designed to bring students to college level competency in grammar, sentence structure, coherence, and clarity. This begins with the preparation of a well-composed, coherent paragraph and moves on to the process of writing focused essays of at least five paragraphs in a variety of rhetorical modes. Standard written English, including appropriate grammar and syntax, is covered in detail. In addition, reading comprehension and vocabulary building will be emphasized.
