3 credits This course will provide students with an understanding of the financial decisions which continuously confront managers and the basic financial tools which are available for solving financial problems. This course emphasizes financial analysis of equity financing, short-term and long-term debt financing; financial analysis of the firm's current and future financial conditions. Efficient management of the firm's assets is examined. The theory pertaining to capital budgeting, valuation of assets, capital structure, and timely financial decisions is introduced.
