3 credits In-depth analysis of theories employed in the valuation of a group of investments including the concept of classification. Since investors rarely place their entire wealth into a single asset or investment, this course teaches the construction of a portfolio or group of investments and extends the analysis of risk and return in that context. Topics include individual securities, industry sectors, portfolio theory, management and performance analysis, and the economy relative to the merits of investing. PREREQUISITES: FA-308, FA-310, and AC-330
