Prerequisite: None Corequisite: None This course is designed for non-swimmers and beginners. Emphasis is placed on developing confi dence in the water, learning water safety, acquiring skills in fl oating, and learning elementary strokes. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate safety skills and be able to tread water, back fl oat, and use the crawl stroke for 20 yards. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement. ( F.)
