Emphasis is placed on the nursing process, legal/ethical/professional issues, wellness/illness patterns, and basic nursing skills. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate beginning understanding of nursing process to promote/maintain/restore optimum health for diverse clients throughout the life span. (F.)
