Prerequisite: MUS 111 Corequisite: None This course provides an in-depth introduction to melody, rhythm, and harmony. Emphasis is placed on fundamental melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic analysis, introduction to part writing, ear-training, and sightsinging. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate profi ciency in the recognition and application of the above. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement. ( F.)
