Prerequisite: NUR 101 and BIO 163 Corequisite: None This course includes more advanced concepts as related to the practical nurse's caregiver and discipline-specifi c roles. Emphasis is placed on the nursing process, delegation, cost effectiveness, legal/ethical/ professional issues, and wellness/illness patterns. Upon completion, students should be able to begin participating in the nursing process to promote/maintain/restore optimum health for diverse clients throughout the life span. (Sp.)
