Prerequisite: NUR 115, NUR 133, BIO 165 and MAT 110 Corequisite: None This course introduces concepts related to the nursing care of individuals experiencing acute and chronic alterations in health. Emphasis is placed on utilizing the nursing process as a framework for providing and managing nursing care to individuals along the wellness-illness continuum. Upon completion, students should be able to apply the nursing process to individuals experiencing acute and chronic alterations in health. (Sp.)
