Prerequisite: Appropriate score on placement test (AW = 23-35, COMPASS = 1-23) Corequisite: None This course introduces the writing process and stresses effective sentences. Emphasis is placed on applying the conventions of written English, refl ecting standard usage and mechanics in structuring a variety of sentences. Upon completion, students should be able to write correct sentences and a unifi ed, coherent paragraph. Students scoring into ENG 080 must also complete ACA 090 Study Skills, before registering for ENG 111, Expository Writing. (F., Sp., S.)
