Prerequisite: None Corequisite: None This course is a general survey of municipal public relations and their effect on the governmental process. Topics include principles of public relations, press releases, press conferences, public information offi cers, image surveys, and the effects of perceived service on fi re protection delivery. Upon completion, students should be able to manage the public relations functions of a fi re service organization, which meet elements of NFPA 1021 for Fire Offi cer I and II. (Sp.)
