Prerequisite(s): None Corequisite(s): None This course is a survey of Rock music from the early 1950's to the present. Emphasis is placed on musical groups, soloists, and styles related to the evolution of this idiom and on related historical and social events. Upon completion, students should be able to identify specific styles and to explain the influence of selected performers within their respective eras.
