Prerequisite(s): Appropriate Placement Test Score Corequisite(s): None This course provides an in-depth introduction to melody, rhythm, and harmony. Emphasis is placed on fundamental melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic analysis, introduction to part writing, ear-training, and sight-singing. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate proficiency in the recognition and application of the above.
