Prerequisite(s): MUS 111 or MUS 121 Corequisite(s): None This course provides a study of elementary forms and traditional approaches to the organization of melody, harmony, rhythm, etc. in musical composition. Emphasis is placed on using musical notation to create new musical works. Upon completion, students should be able to create short musical works using appropriate musical notation. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
