Prerequisite(s): High school diploma or GED and currently eligible to be listed as NA I with State of North Carolina Corequisite(s): None This course provides training in selected advanced nursing assistant procedures. Emphasis is placed on sterile techniques, respiratory procedures, catheterizations, wound and trach care, irrigations, and ostomy care. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate skills necessary to qualify as a Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. This is a certificate-level course.
