Prerequisite(s): None Corequisite(s): None This course is designed to introduce new lateral entry teachers to the policies and procedures established by the local education agency. Topics include emergency situation procedures, acceptable discipline, chain of command, role of mentors, evaluation procedures, employment requirements, dress codes, and other policies and procedures. Upon completion, students should be able to explain the policies and procedures to students, parents, or others and discuss the purpose of each policy category.
