Lectures, workshops and practicum labs assist the student in planning quality learning experiences for the young child. The developmental needs and abilities of the infant, toddler, preschooler and special needs child will be studied. environmental factors that influence learning will also be explored. Laboratory: one morning or afternoon per week in the Maria College Campus School. This practicum provides the opportunity to become involved in overall classroom responsibilities, including observing, recording, interacting, planning and presenting or observation Participation Training (oPT). note: open only to eaC majors Prerequisite: eaC 100
