This course provides a range of clinical experiences for the paramedic student to include clinical application of advanced emergency care. The student will be assigned to the following areas: Pediatrics, Psychiatric, Labor and Delivery. Other clinical assignment hours in this module may be utilized in Trauma Service Trauma and Medical Units (Orthopedics, Burns, Dialysis, Neurology, Endocrinology, Toxicology, Infectious Diseases), Coronary Care and Telemetry, Respiratory Therapy, Phlebotomy, Emergency Department, EMS, and Flex and Elective for a total of 60 contact hours. Prerequisites: EMS 134, EMS 200C Corequisites: EMS 135, EMS 136
