This course provides an introduction to and application of codes using CPT/HCPC system. Areas of study include the CPT4 Manual, assigning Evaluation and Management codes, anesthesia and surgery, radiology and pathology and medicine. Codes will be applied to workbook exercises, case studies, and actual outpatient charts. Prerequisite: HIT 215 Corequisite: HIT 217 *NoteMAS 153 may substitute for HIT 216
