This course focuses on preparing the student for assuming the role of the registered nurse, as covered in the first year of the associate degree program. Skills lab and clinical practice focus on the application of therapeutic nursing interventions and critical thinking behaviors in select client populations. The course facilitates the transition of LVN into the second year of the RN program.
