This course focuses on further development of elementary communication skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing Japanese. A continued emphasis is on fundamentals of grammar and pronunciation, practical vocabulary and useful phrases and idioms. Further honorific, polite, and humble forms of vocabulary and expressions are introduced and analyzed.
