This course studies creation and application of curriculum and developmentally appropriate activities for children ages six through adolescence. Primary considerations are given to assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programs. Standards for quality school-age experience are used to assess quality indicators in the areas of human relationships, indoor and outdoor environments, activities, health, nutrition, safety and administration.
