Prerequisite: NUR 185 Corequisite: None This course is designed to introduce basic concepts and practices of community-based nursing. Emphasis is based on roles and functions of nurses as members of interdisciplinary teams in the community and utilization of the nursing process to meet the needs or problems of individuals and groups in the community. Upon completion, students should be able to provide nursing care to individuals and/or groups in community-based settings. (F.)
