Prerequisite: None Corequisite: None This course is an introductory course for students with little or no music background. Emphasis is placed on music notation, rhythmic patterns, scales, key signatures, intervals, and chords. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the rudiments of music. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement. ( F., Sp., S.)
