Prerequisite: None Corequisite: None This course introduces potential life threatening or serious injury situations that may occur during outdoor activities and basic orienteering. Topics include injuries by mechanical equipment, plants, animals, and climatic conditions and the proper treatment for each situation. Upon completion, students should be able to respond to emergency situations which may occur in a forest environment. (F.)
