Prerequisite: None Corequisite: None This course introduces developmentally appropriate practices, positive guidance, and standards of health, safety, and nutrition. Topics include the learning environment, planning developmentally appropriate activities, positive guidance techniques, and health, safety, and nutrition standards. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate developmentally appropriate activities and positive guidance techniques and describe health/sanitation/nutrition practices that promote healthy environments for children.
