Topics will cover basic economic principles, economics of poverty, economic systems, economics of education, economics of crime and prevention, economics of pollution, economics of discrimination, economics of monopoly power, protectionism and free trade, cost of unemployment, measurement of inflation, economics of social insurance and Medicare, and economic growth. 3 credits.
