Designed to be taken concurrently with Chemistry 372. Experiments performed complement material studied in Chemistry 372. Requires the use of modern computer platforms and software for data analysis. Also requires use of departmental spectrometers for the study of foundations of spectroscopy and the interpretation of spectra in terms of quantum chemistry concepts. Not open to students who have successfully completed Chemistry 361L and 362L. Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Writing Proficiency Requirement. Corequisite: Chemistry 372.
