Presents a practical and theoretical approach to the ecological needs of the young child. Students will visit high-need schools, Head Start Programs, before- and after-school programs, playgrounds, community centers and neighborhoods to see how home, school and community affect children's perceptions and attitudes about learning and schooling. Students will contrast and compare these experiences to those of children in the the Maria College Campus School during their practicum experience. The student is required to complete a minimum of 20 oPT hours. Corequisite: eaC 210/211
