Topics include music, politics, literature, art, religion, race relations, and the role of social class in historical and contemporary contexts. Upon completion, students should be able to identify the characteristics that distinguish Southern culture. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement general education core requirement in humanities.
