This course introduces students to the computational skills required in the health care field. Student are given the opportunity to analyze data applied to situations and to evaluate the source of the data. Topic include: reporting statistical data, mathematical review, health care overview and data collection census percentage of occupancy mortality rates autopsy rates length of stay/discharge days miscellaneous rates data presentation and computerization. Prerequisites: MAT 191, HIT 191, HIT 196, SCT 100
