Provides the knowledge and skills to apply coding of procedures for billing purposes. Provides an introduction to medical coding as it relates to health insurance. Topics include international classification of diseases, code book formats guidelines and conventions coding techniques formats of the ICD9 and CPT manuals health insurance billing and collections. Prerequisites: BUS 101, BUS 211, BUS 2-1-2, ENG 111
