(formerly ECE-046) This course explores an array of child observation and study methods to understand and articulate developmental needs of each child upon which to base lesson development and child guidance. Applying developmental theory and brain research to design early childhood settings, understanding and guiding child behavior, communicating and interacting with young children through developmentally and culturally appropriate practices for young children are also studied.
