In this course students build on skills learned in the Crystal Glaze class. This course further explores the history and development of crystalline ceramic forms with variety of porcelain clay bodies. Students create complex forms and develop and apply crystal glazes in a variety of kiln atmospheres and temperatures. This course also explores the use of after-firing techniques such as the use of lusters, horsehair, and fuming. Students further enhance their own personal creative style. May be taken a total of three times.
