This course continues to develop material acquired in ASL- 002A. Increasingly complex vocabulary and grammar are introduced. Students learn additional culturally appropriate language structures to negotiate situations involving complaints, requests, narratives, and conversational feedback mechanisms. Potential sources of miscommunication between Deaf and hearing persons are examined. Completion of ASL-002A and ASL-002B is equivalent to ASL-002.
