Prerequisite(s): ART 240 Corequisite(s): None This course introduces and practices the skills and techniques of openair painting. Emphasis is placed on techniques of painting summer foliage, skies, and mountains, and the elements of aerial perspective. Upon completion, students should be able to complete an open-air landscape painting employing brush, knife, scumbling, and glazing techniques. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement for transferability as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
