Thiscourse is designed to prepare non-radiographers with a specific background in radiation protection and radiation biology necessary to be eligible to apply for the State of Ohio, Radiology Technology Division, General Operator Examination. Areas of instruction include radiation physics, radiographic technique, darkroom processing and film handling, radiation health, safety and protection and radiation biology. Basic radiographic positioning skills and terminology are also presented.
