CREDITS: 3.00 Prerequisite/Corequisite: Successful completion of all dental assisting didactic courses or two years of full-time work experience (3,500 hours) as a dental assistant, along with recommendation from the dentist/employer. Reviews information concerning all didactic areas tested by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). Topics include: collecting and recording clinical data, dental radiography, chairside dental procedures, prevention of disease transmission, patient education and oral health management procedures, and test taking skills.
